Nutrition according to TCM
TCM chefs season their dishes using spices according to the Five-Element Theory (wood, fire, earth, metal, water). Each element corresponds not only to certain foods, but also to structures within the human body. Harmonising these elements, including through proper nutrition, also contributes to harmonising the two main forces within us, Yin and Yang. This in turn allows Qi, the life energy, to flow freely. Only then is the body in a state of health.
Regional differences
According to TCM, the best food is that which grows near us. That is why we cook according to TCM using fresh ingredients from our surroundings.

At Tenzo you can help yourself freely at the buffet. You will find a selection of salads, soups, hot and cold dishes (including vegetarian and vegan options) as well as desserts - all prepared using regional organic ingredients. Teas and spice blends not only refine the dishes but are an essential part of TCM cuisine and valued for their medicinal benefits. If you would also like to enjoy our TCM cuisine in the evening, we will serve you a corresponding 3-course menu in the gourmet main restaurant.
