The Head Spa is a carefully composed Japanese ritual designed to promote the health and beauty of the scalp and hair while offering a holistic wellbeing experience. Its origins lie in ancient massage and healing traditions - further developed from the late 20th century with modern techniques.
Head Spa - Treatment package
Our Original Japanese Head Spa Ritual - Deep Scalp Cleansing Deluxe (70 min) - includes a scalp analysis, a three-step deep cleansing, aromatherapy, hair treatment, steam sauna for the hair, intensive moisturising care, a scalp, neck and hand massage, and a gentle blow-dry without styling. The treatment takes place in the exclusive Atrium Spa of the Posthotel, where maximum relaxation and discretion are a given. Not suitable for freshly dyed hair, dreadlocks or hair extensions.
Premium equipment
We use luxurious, certified Head Spa equipment from TAKARA and premium Head Spa cosmetics from MILBON. The hair steam sauna enhances the absorption of active ingredients using microscopic water particles that penetrate the scalp more effectively.
The Yume Headbath offers a continuous stream of warm water flowing along the hair and scalp - its gentle sound reminiscent of a babbling brook in a Japanese Zen garden.
The Head Spa is one of the best-kept secrets for youthfulness, health and longevity in Japan.
