Meeting point: normally guests meet their pilots directly at the mountain station of the Rofan cable car.
Pilots: in summer, up to 12 local pilots (meaning several people can fly at the same time). Every pilot has many years of flight experience.
We want to guarantee every guest an unforgettable experience, which is why safety and guest care are our top priorities. To ensure this, no flights are offered on the Rofan in the late afternoon until around mid-August, as the best conditions prevail until around 2:00 pm in spring and summer. For the same reason, flights are sometimes cancelled on days that appear to be fine - conditions must be 100% right to guarantee our guests not only a safe, but also a truly wonderful experience.
