On the morning of the cattle-driving ceremony
, accompanied by an early autumn mood, Karl Reiter will guide us through Achenkirch into the unspoiled natural beauty of the Karwendel mountains
. Passing by waterfalls and streams along well-maintained paths, our goal is to reach our very own Falkenmoossalm hut at an altitude of around 1300 m
. We will be rewarded for our efforts with a hearty snack
of bacon, cheese, bread and soup. This naturally also includes our specially produced schnapps
. Gather together in the Tyrolean Alps.
‘Sepp’ decorates the cattle with plenty of style together with his helpers and prepares them for their ceremonial descent down the mountain. Led by Karl Reiter, we’ll march together with the cows past the Posthotel where our hike will be celebrated with Gustl’s legendary cattle driver punch.
In the evening we’ll celebrate together in a festively decorated marquee with dance music and an entertainment programme. The kitchen team, led by head chef Fabian, will conjure up a festive meal for us.
